成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a solar photovoltaic (PV) array for generating power based on solar radiation and module surface temperature. A thermoelectric generator (TEG) is integrated with the PV array to harness waste heat for generating additional power. A direct current-direct current (DC-DC) converter is coupled to a PV-TEG system to regulate voltage for efficient power distribution. A wind energy system with a permanent magnet-based variable speed wind turbine generates power. A common DC link aggregates the power from the PV-TEG and wind energy systems for forming a centralized point for DC power. An electrolyzer is coupled to the DC link for hydrogen production and connected with a controller for operation management. A voltage source converter (VSC) converts aggregated DC power to alternating current (AC) for enabling microgrid integration. USE - Hybrid renewable energy system for integration in microgrid environments. ADVANTAGE - The method enables enhancing robustness and efficiency in managing power under stable and fault conditions, thus ensuring enhanced reliability and performance in diverse operational scenarios. The method allows a proposed setup to increase active power output and effectively reduce reactive power, thus leading to improved overall efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for optimizing performance of a hybrid renewable energy system in microgrid environments.
