成果简介NOVELTY - The system has an inner feedback loop employing a proportional-derivative (PD) controller tuned using Routh stability criteria and maximal sensitivity (MS) specifications for process stabilization. An outer feedback loop employs an integral controller with an integral gain tuned to achieve desired sensitivity performance. A unified control architecture tracks a reference signal, rejects disturbances, and generates manipulated variables and controlled variables. USE - Dual-loop Integral-(PD) system for controlling water level in a boiler steam drum, and controlling exit concentration in an enzymatic bioreactor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The system enhances stability, improves disturbance rejection, and achieves accurate setpoint tracking by decoupling integral action from PD control, thus enabling independent tuning of integral gain and PD parameters. The system reduces complexity in tuning parameters while ensuring optimal control performance across diverse process dynamics. The system enables flexible adjustment of integral gain for steady-state accuracy based on desired performance specifications.
