| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The topology has a set of switches, diodes, capacitors and voltage sources, where the topology generates nine-level output with a lesser number of components, inherent capability of self-balance voltage without using any external circuits. A set of capacitors is connected to the switches. The capacitors are connected to a power supply. The switches are coupled to the capacitors. The power supply is coupled to an inverter. The inverter is connected between the switches and the power supply, where a power is supplied to the inverter from the power source. USE - Cross switched h-bridge multilevel inverter used in industrial applications, such as renewable energy, micro grid applications, and motor drivers. Can also be used as source of high frequency (HF) power. ADVANTAGE - The cross switched h-bridge multilevel inverter utilizes a minimum number of switches, diodes, capacitors and voltage sources. The cross switched h-bridge multilevel inverter generates nine-level output with a lesser number of components, inherent capability of the self-balance voltage without using any external circuit. The inverter reduces voltage stress on the switches and enables self-balancing of capacitor voltage without the need for extra circuits, thus reducing total harmonic distortion (THD), dv/dt stresses across the switches, and peak inverse voltage (PIV) of the inverter, and hence increasing efficiency and reducing system cost.
