成果简介NOVELTY - Advance sulfur separation techniques for clean coal production, involves mixing coal with solvent such as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)/sulfuric acid (H2SO4) and nitric acid (HNO3) demonstrating high efficiency in chemical leaching to remove inorganic sulfur. USE - Advance sulfur separation techniques for clean coal production. ADVANTAGE - The method uses H2O2/H2SO4which removes up to 90% of elemental sulfur, making it highly suitable for coal with low pyrite sulfur content, HNO3 efficiently removes up to 83.33% of pyrite sulfur, making it a preferred solvent for pyrite-rich coal. The method optimizes sulfur removal while retaining coal's energy potential. The method uses hot water leaching is inefficient, removing only about 1% of total sulfur and having minimal impact on coal quality, uses smaller particles which increases the rate of sulfur removal due to enhanced surface area and reduced diffusion distance, higher temperatures improve sulfur removal efficiency, with 80℃ identified as the optimal temperature for solvent diffusion and reaction kinetics, and extended mixing time initially enhances sulfur removal, but excessive agitation reduces efficiency due to particle size reduction and agglomeration.
