成果简介NOVELTY - The heat transfer mechanism is positioned at the focal point of the Scheffler reflector, and is designed to convert the concentrated solar energy into thermal energy at the heat receiver of the Stirling engine with minimal loss. A tracking and orientation control system is provided for the scheffler reflectsor, allowing it to continuously follow the sun's path, thus maximizing energy concentration on the stirling engine's receiver throughout the day. A control and monitoring system is used for coordinating the performance of the scoffer reflector. A regenerator is added between the hot and cold chambers increases Striling engine efficiency by 2-3%. USE - Heat transfer mechanism used for mounting a hot gas Stirling engine in conjunction with a Schaffer collector in large-scale concentrated solar power (CSP) plants. ADVANTAGE - The system increases the efficiency of the concentrated solar power (CSP) system and increases the generation of electricity. The system replaces the parabolic collector with scheffler collector which has fixed focus though out the day which reduces complexity of tracking mechanism and hence less initial cost.
