成果简介	NOVELTY - A descaling composition comprises: a water softening agent consisting of an organic acid; and a corrosion inhibitor/ slowing agent consisting of amine. The composition when added to aqueous system water in the ratio of 2:1 inhibits the corrosion. The organic acid is acetic acid. The amine is monoethanolamine. The acetic acid is diluted with water to achieve 25-35 vol./vol.%. The monoethanolamine is diluted with water to achieve 20-30 vol./vol.%. The composition is added in the range of 30-40 ml per 100 ml of reservoir water of cooling systems. USE - Descaling composition for use in reservoir water of cooling system, cooling plants, and pipelines to maintain water flow. ADVANTAGE - The descaling composition has improved corrosion inhibiting and descaling properties and is easily soluble in water with no residues, non-irritant, non-hazardous, biodegradable, highly stable (over wide range of pH of waters), non-corrosive to handle and can be safely disposed of down a normal plant sewer or drain.
