成果简介	NOVELTY - The system has four traction motors controlled by a proportional integral controller to distribute power as per notch setting with real-time feedback from sensors enabling continuous adjustments for optimal performance. Two buck-boost converters supply power to the traction motors from a direct current (DC) link. The converters regulate the output voltage from zero to the rated voltage of the motor, and regulate the speed of the traction motor by adjusting the terminal voltage. The motor speed increases corresponding to a change in the order of notch, where the order comprises Notch 1 to Notch 8. USE - Battery powered electric tower car system for periodic inspection, patrolling, and maintenance of traction overhead equipment (OHE) used for inspecting, repairing. ADVANTAGE - The DC traction motor replaces the existing power pack of the diesel electric tower car (DETC) of Indian railways to reduce carbon dioxide emission and enhance the performance and efficiency of the system. The DC link voltage regulation for delivering smooth acceleration and enhancing system efficiency.
