成果简介NOVELTY - Synthesizing lanthanum ferrite nanoplums invovles preparing a 2.5 M solution of lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate and iron nitrate nonanhydrate, adding 5 M citric acid to the solution along with stirring for 10 minutes, agitating the solution ultrasonically at 50℃ for 1 hour, autoclaving the agitated solution at 160℃, centrifuging the autoclaved solution upon cooling to obtain pellet, washing the pellet followed by drying at 60℃ and calcinating at predetermined temperature. USE - The method is useful for synthesizing lanthanum ferrite nanoplums, which is used in chemical sensors, catalysts, electrolytes, fuel cells, biosensors and gas sensors. ADVANTAGE - The method is highly efficient and simple method of synthesis of lanthanum ferrite nanostructures and the nanoplums that are uniform and efficient with enhanced active sites. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a lanthanum ferrite nanoplums comprising lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate.
