| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The method involves mixing ethanol and acetic acid with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanoparticles and chitosan to form a homogeneous solution. A glass fabric substrate (104) is cleaned with acetone and ethanol followed by drying and coating the glass fabric substrate with a rGO-chitosan paste (102) through immersion such that uniform distribution of the rGO-chitosan paste is ensured on the glass fabric substrate. Effective real-time structural health monitoring in composite materials is performed by a multifunctional strain monitoring piezoresistive sensor (100) for applications, where applications are aerospace, automotive, and civil engineering. USE - Method for fabricating multifunctional strain monitoring piezoresistive sensor in aerospace industry, automotive industry, construction industry and marine industry. ADVANTAGE - The method enhances sensitivity and accuracy of strain detection in fiber-reinforced polymer composites, and identifies signs of degradation in real time, and facilitates maintenance by SHM systems, and prevents catastrophic events. The method embeds conductive pathways within FRPCs, and feasibly monitors changes in electrical resistance as indicators of structural degradation.
