| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The device has a carbide cutting tool (109) mounted on a platform (101) through an L-type telescopic rod (110). The carbide cutting tool is guided by real-time feedback from a tactile sensor, an imaging unit (107) and ultrasonic sensor. A stainless-steel cutting tool (111) is mounted on the platform through an L-type telescopic bar (112). The stainless steel cutting tool is used for creating splines in an internal section of a stainless-steel gear after welding. A plurality of spindles (113) is mounted on an L-type telescopic pole (114) with multiple extendable grooved structures (115). The grooved structures are integrated with multiple touch sensors. The spindles are dynamically regulated by a microcontroller to measure structure of splines in gear while removing burrs from newly created splines. The microcontroller generates alert through a speaker (116) mounted on the platform when the spline dimensions do not meet required specifications. USE - Automated axle shaft side gear refurbishment device for repairing of splines of an axle shaft side gear of a maintenance vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The microcontroller automatically initiates a rejection mechanism when the thickness of the axle shaft side gear is found to be below the acceptable limit to ensure that the defective gear is discarded, so that substandard gears can be prevented from being processed further, and the quality and integrity of the finished products can be maintained, thus ensuring that the area remains clean and free of contaminants, which affect the quality of the process and the final product.
