成果简介NOVELTY - The Wearable sensor has an automatic alert System activated when the automatic alert System detects potential fall such that a user gets correct abnormal gait. A MPU6050 accelerometer and a gyroscope sensor body are connected with an Arduino Uno microcontroller to process movement data. A rechargeable battery powers the wearable device for ensuring portability and uninterrupted operation. An Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is used for programming the Arduino Uno and integrating libraries for sensor data acquisition and processing. A printed circuit board (PCB) provides a compact and reliable platform for circuit assembly. USE - Wearable sensor e.g. six-axis motion tracking sensor, gyroscope sensor and MPU6050 sensor, for use as a hardware-based elderly fall prevention system for detecting and preventing falls in elderly people by measuring linear acceleration and angular velocity. ADVANTAGE - The sensor automatically detects falls by analyzing movement patterns using MPU6050 sensor and sends real-time alerts to caregivers or medical professionals. The sensor ensures continuous tracking of movement data to ensure prompt identification of falls and immediate intervention. The sensor uses a hardware-based system that is simple to implement, portable or ease of use, and affordable for making the system accessible for everyday use by elderly individuals. The wearable device improves safety and independence for seniors by minimizing response time to falls and reducing injury risks. The sensor demonstrates potential of wearable technology to address critical health and safety concerns for aging population. The sensor enhances safety, independence, and overall quality of life for elderly individuals. The sensor realizes system underwent calibration to ensure accuracy in detecting movements and falls. The sensor uses Simple hardware design without reliance on complex Artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The sensor is Compact and battery-powered for convenient wearability, and Provides immediate alerts for timely intervention, utilizes cost-effective components e.g. MPU6050 and Arduino Uno, and uses threshold-based algorithms to ensure accurate fall detection with minimal false positives.
