成果简介NOVELTY - The method involves measuring (120) electrical, thermal, and mechanical stress parameters by a battery management system (BMS). The measured stress parameters are analyzed (130) by comparing with a predefined stress threshold for monitoring non-critical stress levels that leads to degradation of the battery. Integrated analysis is performed (140) in a connected platform to generate a stress profile. A fault response is triggered (150) when a magnitude of the measured stress parameters exceeds fault threshold. A Battery Degradation Index (BDI) is determined (160) based on the generated stress profile by integrating the measured stress parameters for quantifying overall degradation of the battery by providing an indicator of a current health status and remaining lifespan of the battery.
