成果简介NOVELTY - Method for recovering rare earth metals (REMs) from phosphogypsum industrial waste, involves drying phosphogypsum containing 35-40% moisture; leaching the dried phosphogypsum with ferric chloride (FeCl3) and hydrochloric acid (HCl); stirring the mixture at room temperature for 8-12 hours (h) to facilitate a displacement reaction; filtering the slurry to separate solid residues and obtaining an REM-enriched liquid; washing the residue with demineralized water to enhance REM recovery. USE - Method for recovering rare earth metals (REMs) from phosphogypsum industrial waste. ADVANTAGE - The method is highly efficient, environmentally friendly, and economically viable solution for recovering rare earth metals from phosphogypsum, and high recovery rates, low environmental impact, and ease of scalability.
