成果简介NOVELTY - The inverter (100) has a coupled inductor arrangement (102) that obtains a voltage information of the inverter. A controller detects and controls an open circuit faults in the inverter using a set of switches (S1-S6). The controller controls the inverter to conduct first and second switches when a modulating signal is greater than a carrier signal, controls inverters to conduct the third and fourth switches during active state, and controls the inverter during a freewheeling period. USE - Highly Efficient and Reliable Inverter Concept (HERIC) transformerless photovoltaic inverter. ADVANTAGE - The inverter requires only a single voltage sensor for control and open-circuit switch fault detection. The inverter allows voltage data from the single sensor to be utilized for both control and open-circuit switch fault detection within a single switching cycle, thus reducing overall system costs, minimizing potential errors associated with multiple sensors, and ensuring quick response to any issues. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for facilitating single sensor-based control and fault detection in transformerless PV inverter.
