成果简介NOVELTY - Catalyst for the capture and conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) into valuable products, comprises a metal nanoparticle selected from copper, silver, palladium, or gold; a support material selected from metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), carbon nanotubes, graphene, or oxide-based materials; where the metal nanoparticle is dispersed on the support material to enhance CO2adsorption and reduction, and the catalyst is configured to operate under mild conditions including ambient temperature and pressure to selectively convert CO2to valuable chemicals and fuels. USE - Methods of synthesizing the catalyst, including sol-gel processing and chemical vapor deposition, are also disclosed, providing a scalable approach for industrial applications in CO2 management and the production of renewable fuels and chemicals. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst exhibits enhanced activity, stability, and durability, making it suitable for both electrochemical and thermocatalytic CO2 reduction processes. The catalyst resists deactivation by carbon deposits or oxidation, ensuring long-term operational efficiency.
