成果简介NOVELTY - Nano particle-infused coating composition comprises a matrix material consisting of ceramic, polymer, and/or metal oxide, multiple of nanoparticles dispersed within the matrix material, where the nanoparticles are silica, alumina, zirconia, carbon nanotubes, and/or graphene. A stabilizer prevents agglomeration of nanoparticles within the matrix material. A bonding agent enhances adhesion to substrates made of metals, ceramics, or composites, improving the durability and longevity of the coating. The coating composition is applied to a substrate, exhibits a reduction in thermal conductivity by 30 % compared to conventional high-temperature insulation coatings. A corrosion resistance and resistance to thermal cycling improving the operational lifespan of the substrate. USE - Nano particle-infused coating composition for high-temperature insulation and for automotive components. ADVANTAGE - The composition improves energy efficiency by reducing heat loss and enhancing the durability of critical portions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for producing the nano particle-infused high-temperature insulation coating composition involves synthesizing nanoparticles of silica, alumina, zirconia, carbon nanotubes, and/or graphene, dispersing the nanoparticles into a matrix material of ceramic, polymer, or metal oxide-based materials, applying the resulting nano particle-infused coating composition to a substrate, using an application technique of spraying, dipping, brushing, or electrostatic deposition, curing or drying the coating, forming a hardened insulating layer on the substrate.
