| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The device has a housing (1) inside which infrared sensors (5,6) are located for detecting presence of animal in target location. An automatic feed supply module (2) and control system is arranged in housing, and lower portion of front wall of housing is arranged with three openings. A lever for interacting with the animal is located above outer openings arranged with LEDs. The infrared sensors for detecting presence of animal are placed in compartments in lower portion of the housing and opposite to the outer openings. The feed supply module is connected to central opening, and the control system transmits results to computer, where microcontroller is built into rear wall of housing. USE - Device for operant conditioning of small laboratory animals. ADVANTAGE - The device is enabled to assess cognitive abilities of animals while increasing the speed and accuracy of learning. The device ensures high comfort for animals and reduces workload on operators to minimum. The simultaneous operation with unlimited number of devices in system allows scaling experiments and studies with large groups of animals. The device allows analysis reaction time, learning time, and total time to reach goal and number of errors.
