DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process for preparation of an electrospun nanofiber formulation which involves (a) dissolving quercetin in ethanol with ethyl cellulose and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) to form drug solution I; (b) dissolving sulfasalazine in a solvent system comprising ethanol and dimethyl formamide (DMF) in a ratio of 4:1, along with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), to form drug solution II; (c) mixing drug solution I and drug solution II in a ratio of 1:1 to form a solution mixture; (d) electrospinning the solution mixture to obtain electrospun nanofibers
