成果简介NOVELTY - The pin has a hollow tapered body provided with a flange. The flange is extended outward from a top end of the hollow tapered body. A leg connecting section is extended inside the hollow tapered body. A pair of tapered legs is extended from the hollow tapered body and the leg connecting section. The leg connecting section is adapted to connect the tapered leg with another tapered leg. A space is formed between the leg connecting section and the tapered legs. The hollow tapered body is rigidly engaged with a center hole of a current collector lid (200) when the closing pin is self-locked with the current collector lid. USE - Self-locking closing pin for a cylindrical battery cell. ADVANTAGE - The self-locking closing pin is reliable and easy to manufacture, and adapted to restrict a play with the center hole of the current collector lid, so that loosening of the closing pin can be prevented from the lid, and electrolyte leakage from the cylindrical battery cell can be avoided, thus achieving hermetic sealing with the lid center hole, eliminating the usage of the sealing plug in the cell, and preventing entry of contaminants into the cell, and hence enhancing safety and lifetime of the cell.
