Increased landing area on the top surface of the current collector disc, reducing electrical resistance and enhancing welding reliability. The additional space facilitates the integration of multiple welding lines or terminals between the cathode and the riveted terminal, improving electrical performance. The use of copper materials enables ultrasonic welding, further increasing the weld area for better connectivity. The battery provides a robust solution to these challenges by ensuring the concentricity of the jelly roll during the welding process and preventing the displacement of the current collector disc/plate. This approach minimizes welding defects, enhances the structural stability of the battery, and significantly improves manufacturing efficiency.
