成果简介NOVELTY - The active power filter comprises electrical distribution networks requiring more sophisticated compensating measures. A predictive control strategy is described for the implementation of an active power filter using a four-leg voltage-source inverter. Current harmonic components and unbalanced current produced by single-phase nonlinear loads are compensated for by using a four-leg voltage-source inverter. USE - Active power filter for renewable power generation systems associated with renewable energy sources e.g. wind turbines and solar power plants, for active power filter applications. ADVANTAGE - The method provides an accurate model produced using predictive controllers, thus enhancing the active power filter's performance, particularly under transient operating situations. The method makes dead-time compensations easier to handle, and enables the replacement of pulse-width modulators in motor driving applications, thus reducing oscillations and instability brought on by unknown load characteristics. The proposed control algorithm for distribution systems associated with renewable energy sources improves the quality of current of distribution system. The predictive control algorithm for the converter is effective for active power filter applications, improving current tracking capability, and transient response.
