| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Nanoemulsion nanopesticide formulation comprises: (a) 6-12 vol.% plant extract comprising bioactive compound; (b) 6 vol.% repellent oil comprising turmeric essential oil with lantana camara oil; (c) 10 wt.% surfactant comprising Tween (RTM: Polyoxyethylene 20 sorbitan monooleate) 80 for reducing the surface tension between the oil and aqueous phases, producing a stable nanoemulsion and allowing for fine dispersion of oil droplets; (d) 8-10 vol.% co-solvent comprising ethanol; (e) a primary continuous phase for the nanoemulsion comprising water. USE - Nanoemulsion nanopesticide formulation for insecticidal activity, and preventing plant diseases. ADVANTAGE - The nanoemulsion nanopesticide formulation exhibits enhanced stability and shelf life, showing no phase separation over extended storage, and allows for sustained release of bioactive insecticidal compounds, offers a natural and eco-friendly alternative for agricultural pest management by providing an effective means of delivering plant-derived insecticidal agents to target surfaces, enhancing the efficacy and longevity of insect control in crop applications, exhibits multiple modes of action, including contact toxicity, stomach poisoning, suffocation, internal attraction, trapping, anesthetization, stimulation, repellency, suppression, and sterilization. The nanoemulsion nanopesticide formulation is environmentally friendly, safe for humans and livestock, and offers an effective, pollution free solution for managing plant diseases and insect pests, demonstrates significantly enhanced biological activity in cost effective manner, and degrades more rapidly in the environment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the nanoemulsion nanopesticide formulation, comprising: (a1) preparing an organic phase by adding 7.5 ml Tween (RTM: Polyoxyethylene 20 sorbitan monooleate) 80 solution in 20 ml plant extract-insoluble organic suspension; (b1) preparing an aqueous phase by adding 2.5 ml Tween (RTM: Polyoxyethylene 20 sorbitan monooleate) 80 solution separately in 70 ml water yielding a final volume of 100 ml; (c1) preparing the emulsion by adding aqueous phase mixture drop by drop to the organic phase suspension at a controlled rate of 2-4 ml/minute, with continuous stirring at 750 rpm to achieve the phase inversion forming a water-in-oil (W/O) to a water-in-oil-in-water (W/O/W) emulsion followed by stirring continuously for an additional 60 minutes at 750 rpm to stabilize the emulsion, producing an oil-in-water (O/W) nanoemulsion phase followed by ultrasonicating the nanoemulsion in a water bath. |
