| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Concrete composition comprises reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and virgin aggregate in a ratio of 60:40-70:30, 10-40 wt.% fly ash, 5-30 wt.% ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS), liquid alkaline activator comprising a mixture of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and sodium silicate (Na2SiO3) in a 50:50 ratio. USE - Concrete composition for stabilizing reclaimed asphalt pavement. ADVANTAGE - The concrete composition offers better strength, flexibility, and water resistance compared to conventional methods such as cement stabilized RAP, hot mix asphalt with RAP, and cold mix asphalt with RAP. The concrete composition is a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution that reduces the carbon footprint associated with the production and transportation of traditional construction materials like cement, virgin aggregates, and asphalt, contributing to a more sustainable pavement industry. The concrete composition enhances the mechanical properties and long-term durability of the pavement while reducing the need for frequent maintenance and repairs, and is highly adaptable to various local conditions and readily scalable, offers a customizable solution for infrastructure projects in different geographic regions with diverse resource availability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing the concrete, which involves mixing RAP and virgin aggregate in the specified ratio, adding fly ash and GGBS to the mixture, adding the liquid alkaline activator (NaOH and Na2SiO3) in a 50:50 ratio, and thoroughly mixing the components to form a uniform concrete composition. |
