A cooling system is used for keeping the lithium-ion battery in optimum running condition. The cooling system keeps the lithium-ion battery in an electric scooter to run in an optimum level by considering cost-effectiveness. A thermocouple temperature sensor automatically actuates the air cooling system by help of the control system when the lithium-ion battery exceeds an optimum running temperature level. USE - Explosion preventing control system for use in electric Scooters with air cooling system. ADVANTAGE - The control system prevents explosion of lithium-ion batteries due to thermal runaway of the respective battery by monitoring temperature level by using a thermocouple sensor, so that risk of thermal runaway can be mitigated with robust battery management systems, advanced cooling techniques, and protective designs, and lithium-ion batteries can be favored for high energy density, long cycle life, and relatively low self-discharge rate compared to other battery technologies. |
