| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The assembly has a base plate with corresponding threads securely attached to a threaded base of a flower pot to form a watertight connection. A reservoir cavity within the base plate is designed to collect and store excess water that drains from the flower pot. A centrally located capillary system within the pot extends from the reservoir cavity into the soil to draw water from a reservoir of the plate to the soil via a capillary action. The system is made from a porous material that facilitates the upward movement of water from the plate reservoir into the ground. The pot and the plate are made from durable weather-resistant material. A capillary action system is connected to the base plate, where the capillary system is in fluid communication with the base plate. USE - Self-watering flower pot for use by novice and experienced gardeners in water-scarce environments or for users looking to minimize their water consumption. ADVANTAGE - The capillary re-watering system automatically draws water from the base plate reservoir back into the soil. The system uses the natural process of capillary action to ensure that the soil remains consistently moist, reducing the need for frequent manual watering and promoting healthier plant growth. The design ensures that the roots are not submerged in water, while still allowing them to access moisture as needed through the capillary system, thus maintaining an optimal balance of air and water in the soil and preventing common plant health issues i.e. root rot by storing excess water away from the roots. |
