| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Improved process for preparing 1-methyl-2-bromomethyl-3-carbethoxy-5-methoxy-6-bromoindole, comprises adding 3.2 g (0.02 M) ethyl 6-bromo-2-(bromomethyl)-5-methoxy-1-methyl-1H-indene-3-carboxylate (I) dropwise to a solution of 2.47 g (0.01 M) 1,2-dimethyl-3-carbethoxy-5-methoxyindole in 40 ml of carbon tetrachloride with boiling and vigorous stirring, after adding bromine, stirring the resulting composition and boiling for another 2 hours, cooling the reaction mass, filtering the precipitate and drying in air to a constant weight, while the yield of pure target product is 3.6 g (89%), and melting temperature (Tm) of 140-142° C. USE - The process is useful for preparing 1-methyl-2-bromomethyl-3-carbethoxy-5-methoxy-6-bromoindole which inhibits the growth of solid Ehrlich carcinoma and cervical cancer in mice.
