成果简介NOVELTY - A photovoltaic (PV) based single direct current (DC) input hybrid output converter comprises three inductor coils, a pair of capacitors, two pairs of active switches, a diode, and a DC load. The converter is configured to operate in three modes during positive half of the output alternating current (AC) voltage (Vac), the active switches are turned ON simultaneously, the diode D1 is reverse biased and turns OFF, the active switch S3 is turned ON to keep the positive/negative half of output AC current flowing or circulating. USE - Photovoltaic based single direct current (DC) input hybrid output converter for use as a power conditioning device for commercial loads and for loads in nano grid structures. ADVANTAGE - The need of power frequency transformer for integration of loads at standard AC load voltage is eliminated, by using only four active switches. The DC and AC outputs are provided simultaneously with only one DC source. The converter has satisfactory gain at the AC output terminals, thereby eliminating the need for power frequency transformers at AC output terminal.
