成果简介NOVELTY - The converter (100) has a power input port (102) to receive direct current (DC) input voltage. A first output port (104) provides a step-up DC output voltage, and a second output port (106) provides a step-up or stepdown DC output voltage. A set of interleaved inductors (108) and semiconductor switches (110) arranged in a cascading architecture to scale down input and output current ripples. A control circuit (112) applies time-multiplexed switching to regulate power distribution and enable fault-tolerant operation until one of the semiconductor open switches faults. USE - Bidirectional multiport DC-DC converter for charging a battery storage device. ADVANTAGE - The converter charges the battery storage device with step-down and step-up voltage capabilities, thus maintaining constant current operation and minimizing current ripple. The converter enables a phase-shifted parallel operation to reduce the current ripple of a source, thus improving input performance characteristics of the converter. The converter utilizes time-multiplexing control, thus reducing a number of switches, and achieving efficient voltage conversion. The converter supports output ports to allow simultaneous power delivery to loads with fault tolerant capability under single semiconductor open switch fault.
