| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The method involves processing a synthetic mesh using high-grade polymeric materials, which are cut, shaped, and layered to create a uniform reinforcement network within a cementations matrix. The mesh is impregnated in a cement slurry to ensure strong bonding and effective load transfer, where a final product undergoes mechanical testing to assess flexural properties e..g stiffness, ductility, and toughness under both monotonic and cyclic loading conditions, and synthetic mesh reinforcement laminates exhibit linear-elastic behaviour upto maximum load, irrespective of number of layers of mesh reinforcement used. USE - Method for enhancing flexural behavior of ferrocement laminates using synthetic mesh reinforcements for marine applications, coastal applications, and harsh environment applications. ADVANTAGE - The method enables providing an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution, reducing the dependency on metallic meshes prone to corrosion and degradation over time. The method enables offering lightweight, durable, and sustainable alternatives for building materials, and opening avenues for incorporating waste-derived or recycled polymers in synthetic mesh production, promoting circular economy practices. The method enables encouraging continued research into mix design optimization and long-term performance evaluation of synthetic mesh-reinforced ferro cement laminates for large-scale and specialized construction applications, thus ensuring safety, reliability, and environmental sustainability.
