成果简介NOVELTY - Method for forming silver triflate, involves reducing lipoic acid based on sodium borohydride in ultrapure water followed by stirring, and adding silver precursor solution along with sodium borohydride followed by re-stirring USE - Method for forming silver triflate for antimicrobial and other drug delivery application such as bioimaging, sensing, drug delivery, and probe in molecular diagnostics. ADVANTAGE - The silver cation Ag+ from the precursor solutions binds to the thiol ligand and along with reduction forms the silver nanoparticles. These plasmonic silver nanoparticles on further reduction with sodium tetrahydridoborate (NaBH4) forms the further fluorescent clusters. Silver nano clusters having great enhanced fluorescence by the change in their precursor salts.
