| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Printable and environmentally friendly edible ink based on Hibiscusflowers and guar gum comprises citric acid (CA) on the coloring agent Hibiscus(Hb) and binding agent guar gum (GG), where structure has formed more hydroxyl groups and ester interactions and strong interaction between the chitosan and anthocyanin couldn't quickly destroy the smart ink on the label, where the components in 10 g are 2 g Hibiscus, 0-0.1 g citric acid, 0.05 g guar gum, and 7.85-7.95 mL distilled water. USE - Printable and environmentally friendly edible ink based on Hibiscusflowers and guar gum used for printing on food products, paper and food substrates. ADVANTAGE - The edible ink is an economically feasible way to safeguard food security and safety while implementing an eco-friendly strategy. The ink consists of a non-toxic additive and pigment and an eco-friendly polysaccharide resin, guar gum. The ink has high accuracy in printing complex geometric designs and logos over paper and food substrates. The addition of guar gum to the ink strengthens its mechanical properties, binds it, and makes it easier to print complicated geometric shapes. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the method for printing edible ink, which involves (i) drying the dry the Hibiscusflower in an oven at (60 ± 5 °C) until a constant weight was reached; (ii) grinding the dried Hibiscusflower in the ball mill for 20 minutes to obtain the Hibiscuspowder; (iii) using the other components (citric acid and guar gum) until used for the complete formulation of ink; (iv) making the ink formulation with different concentrations of citric acid (1 wt.%, 3 wt.% and 5 wt.%) which were utilized to analyzed the ink, and selecting the final formulation using physicochemical analysis; (v) employing the ink preparation by mixing citric acid and Hibiscuspowder in a required quantity of distilled water and stirring the mixture in a stirrer at 40 °C until the desired consistency is reached; (vi) reaching the desired consistency of the mixture of Hibiscusand citric acid; (vii) adding the guar gum slowly to the mixture to obtain the ink; where the guar gum formed the desired viscosity and other stabilizing properties of the ink; (viii) continuing the stirring at 40 °C until the desired consistency of the ink, which is suitable for printing, is reached; (ix) after adding guar gum and mixing all the components is acquired successfully, the ink is ready for printing purposes. and (x) printing the obtained ink over the paper and food substrates with screen printing. |
