| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has a photovoltaic (PV) panel, a charge control regulator, a battery, a pump controller, a direct current (DC) water pump, a water tank and a level sensor. Electric current produced by the PV panel during daylight hours charges the battery, and the battery supplies power to the pump anytime whenever water is needed. The level sensor determines whether the tank is at full or empty. The battery spreads pumping over a longer period of time by providing a steady operating voltage to a DC motor. USE - Photovoltaic-powered centrifugal water pump system for use by farmers. ADVANTAGE - The system uses solar energy to power pumps, thus reducing reliance on diesel or grid electricity. The system can be more economical due to lower operational and maintenance costs. The system reduces carbon emissions, provides a consistent water supply for crop irrigation in remote areas.
