| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The iodine radiometer-spectrometer has a detection unit which includes a filtering sorption iodine cartridge and a detector based on lanthanum-bromide single crystal (15) doped with cerium. The inlet nozzle (3) of drip separator (2) is designed as a sample collector, and the outlet nozzle (4) is connected to the inlet nozzle (8) of the filter unit (9). The outlet nozzle (11) of filter unit is connected to the sample collector (12) of the detection unit (13). The air sample is supplied to the detection unit to the scattering elements of the iodine cartridge structure through an air pumping path. The outlet pipe of the detection unit is connected to the inlet pipe of the flow meter (21). The outlet pipe of the flow meter is connected to the inlet pipe of the pump (24). The drip separator, the filter unit of the detection unit, the flow meter, the pump, and the information accumulation and processing unit (18) are fixed to the frame (1). USE - Iodine radiometer-spectrometer for measuring volumetric activity of vapors of radioactive iodine nuclides in automatic mode. ADVANTAGE - The quality of measurements is improved. The use of the filter increases the accuracy of measuring the volumetric activity of iodine isotope vapors. The use of a drip separator improves the quality of measurements, and increases the service life of the filter cartridge. The frame ensures the required rigidity of the device structure. The air sample is supplied to the claimed device through the air pumping path and is oriented towards the scattering elements of the cartridge structure, which allows for greater uniformity of sample distribution on the surface of the cartridge and greater efficiency in recording the activity of the sample in its volume than in the prototype. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The detection unit consists of a housing with lead-cadmium protection from background gamma radiation. The inside of the housing has a lanthanum-bromide single crystal doped with cerium located above the filter sorption iodine cartridge (16) with photomultiplier (17).
