ADVANTAGE - The sensor provides a memristive -based sensor, provides a cost-effective, low power and scalable solution to FA detection, with the potential to detect analytes by altering the quantum dot composition and surface functionalization of ZnO thin films, which provides a sensor, has high precision and ability to detect very low concentrations of folic acid, which promise solution for real-time, point-of-care diagnostics with high accuracy and sensitivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for detecting folic acid, which involves drop casting a sample to a sensor, detecting the sensor to the presence of folic acid by measuring changes in electrical properties to the interaction between folic acid-QDs and the zinc oxide (ZnO)-thin film.
