| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The method for manufacturing composite bricks using recycled plastic waste involves: collecting plastic waste primarily low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plastic from household, hospital, industrial, and food packaging sources; drying the collected plastic waste to remove moisture content; crushing the dried plastic waste into fine particles using a crushing machine; mixing the crushed plastic particles with sand and cement; melting the mixture using an extruder with heaters to produce a molten material; and molding the molten material into brick shapes by pouring it into pre-oiled metallic molds. USE - Method for manufacturing composite bricks using recycled plastic waste for use in engineering applications including partition walls, roof tiles and canal lings. ADVANTAGE - The brick exhibits a compressive strength of at least 10 N/mm2, significantly higher than clay bricks, which is around 3-5 N/mm2The method reduces the plastic waste disposal problem as it utilizes the waste even in its finest form and converts that useless material into a useful construction material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a plastic waste recycling system; and (2) a composite brick formed using the plastic waste recycling process, which comprises LDPE plastic particles as a primary material, sand and cement as supplementary materials, a structure formed through extrusion and molding. |
