| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The concrete composition for self-curing applications, comprises ordinary portland cement (OPC) with a specific gravity of 3.14; Pozzolanic fly ash as a partial cement replacement, up to 20% by weight; Fine and coarse aggregates with specific gravities of 2.65 and 2.75, respectively; Polyethylene Glycol (PEG-400) as a self-curing agent in varying percentages ranging from 0.5-2.0 wt.% cement; and A water-cement ratio of 0.37, where composition achieves a target compressive strength of 53.25 MPa for M45 grade concrete. USE - Concrete composition for self-curing applications. ADVANTAGE - The fly ash enhances workability and reduces heat of hydration, improving the sustainability of the concrete mix.The incorporation of PEG-400 mitigates the need for external curing processes, reducing labor and water consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for(1)a method for preparing self-curing concrete, involves designing a concrete mix for M45 grade with defined proportions of cement, aggregates, and sand; Incorporating PEG-400 in percentages ranging from 0.5-2.0% by weight of cement; Mixing components with water to achieve a water-cement ratio of 0.37; Casting the concrete into cylindrical and cubical specimens; and Subjecting the specimens to self-curing and normal curing conditions for comparative testing;(2)a self-curing concrete system, comprises mix design optimized for high-grade concrete (M45); PEG-400 as an internal curing agent for reducing water loss,cylindrical and cubical specimens cast to validate workability and strength parameters; and a curing protocol that stabilizes moisture content and temperature to prevent autogenous deformation and early-age cracking. |
