成果简介NOVELTY - Europium-ion-doped tantalum zinc barium borate glass synthesized using the melt-quenching technique. The amorphous nature of the resulting glass is confirmed through powder X-ray diffraction analysis. The structural and vibrational characteristics of the glass are examined using Fourier transform infrared and Raman spectroscopy, revealing distinct functional groups within the glass network. The chemical composition and surface morphology of the glass were analyzed using energy-dispersive X-ray analysis and scanning electron microscopy. USE - Used as europium-ion-doped tantalum zinc barium borate glass. ADVANTAGE - The glass: has optical properties including optical band gap, extinction coefficient, refractive index and optical conductivity, determined through UV-visible spectroscopy; has photoluminescence properties, thus encompassing both excitation and emission spectra, evaluated to explore its luminescent behavior; and is environmentally sustainable and high-performance.
