USE - System used for reducing carbon emissions from thermal power plants. ADVANTAGE - The system monitors and adjusts process parameters, including temperature, light intensity, and pressure and enhances the efficiency of the CO2(carbon dioxide) conversion and artificial photosynthesis processes. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for reducing carbon emissions from thermal power plants, which involves: a. capturing sunlight using specially designed materials, including semiconductors or photoelectrochemical cells to initiate artificial photosynthesis; b. using the captured solar energy to drive the splitting of water into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2); c. capturing CO2(carbon dioxide) from the atmosphere through direct air capture or other CO2collection methods; d. converting the captured CO2into carbon-based fuels, such as methanol or methane, using a catalyst system; e. optimizing the artificial photosynthesis and CO2conversion processes by adjusting process parameters, including temperature, light intensity, and pressure, in real time using artificial intelligence (AI); f. collecting the produced carbon-based fuels or chemicals for use as renewable energy sources or raw materials for industrial applications; and g. releasing the oxygen (O2) produced during the water-splitting process into the atmosphere or capturing for use in industrial applications. |
