| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Producing cost-effective poultry feed formulations using single cell protein (SCP) derived from salad peel waste involves (i) collecting salad peel waste as a primary raw material; (ii) preprocessing the salad peel waste by cleaning and size reduction, preparing for enzymatic hydrolysis; (iii) performing enzymatic hydrolysis of the salad peel waste using specific enzymes, converting complex carbohydrates and polysaccharides into simpler sugars; (iv) inoculating the hydrolyzed salad peel waste with yeast strains selected for their ability to efficiently metabolize organic substrates, synthesizing protein-rich biomass in a controlled fermentation process, regulating fermentation process to maintain optimal temperature, pH, oxygen levels, and agitation; (v) refining the protein biomass through filtration, drying, and sterilization, producing SCP in a stable and uniform powder or granule form, where the SCP is an enhanced amino acid profile including lysine, threonine, and phenylalanine. USE - Method for producing cost-effective poultry feed formulations using single cell protein derived from salad peel waste. ADVANTAGE - The method addresses environmental challenges by valorizing waste streams, promoting sustainability, and reducing resource dependence in feed production.
