成果简介NOVELTY - The assembly has an inductor-capacitor-diode diode (LCDD) snubber circuit (109) connected across a pair of switching units (103) of a voltage source inverter (VSI) (101). The circuit includes a capacitor to store energy in the form of charges. An inductor stores electrical current in the forms of magnetic field. A diode (D1) is connected in series of the inductor, and another diode (D2) connected in parallel to the inductor. Each switching unit includes a semiconductor switch e.g. wide band gap (WBG) switching device, where a value of inductance of the inductor is based on a rate of change of current with time flowing through the switch, and the first diode is in forward bias when the capacitor is charging. USE - Circuit assembly for a VSI (claimed) i.e. converters, of use in field of power electronic devices. ADVANTAGE - The LCDD snubber circuit mitigates the high-frequency differential mode noise and suppresses the voltage overshoot of the switching device. The power density and efficiency are enhanced and the switching losses are minimized. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a voltage source inverter (VSI).
