成果简介	NOVELTY - Sterile, disposable, medicated herbal Aksheevadi Ghrita (clarified butter) impregnated tulle gauze as dressing material for wound healing, is prepared by ghrita siddhi method as given in the specification with the plant extracts of Moringa oleifera, Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) and Krushna tila (Sesamum indicum), where the gauze in the coating of 50 mg/cm2, preferably 30 mg/cm2on the surface media of rayon-gauze, sterilized by gamma radiation then packed in aluminum packaging. USE - The sterile, disposable, medicated herbal Aksheevadi Ghrita (clarified butter) is useful as dressing material for wound healing and can be used on wound surfaces which are wet or dry and the formulation can be applied as preventive infection patch to control infection caused by bacterial or fungal infections on dermal region (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The herbal wound dressing material is capable of providing an easy sterile barrier from the external environment and reduces trauma to the wound during the changing of wound dressing due to its non-adherent nature and helps in reducing duration of wound healing. The wound contact layer media for its easier use in the management of surgical wounds thus transforming Ayurvedic wound healing modality. It does not contain any cytotoxic material and can also promote controlled drug delivery. It can ensure soft wound dressing and sticks to wound dressing bandages and dressing to prevent secondary infection of the skin surface.
