| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system (100) has a front-mounted camera (101) configured to continuously monitor weather conditions and detect hailstorms in real-time by analyzing visual cues (105), including cloud formations and precipitation patterns. An automatic activation mechanism is triggered upon the hail strom detection. A deployable shield is made of lightweight and durable polycarbonate material, stored within cylindrical roof rails (103), and configured to deploy over a windshield to provide immediate protection against hail impacts. ADVANTAGE - The system enhances vehicle safety, convenience, and sustainability, addressing both functional and environmental challenges faced by vehicle owners in hail-prone regions, and ensures seamless deployment and retraction of the shield mechanism to minimize disruption to the vehicle operation, and enhances the effectiveness of the system in protecting windshields from hail damage and assessing the efficiency of hail water collection for various vehicle maintenance purposes, and optimizes the system for reliability, cost-effectiveness, and eases of integration into existing vehicle designs, and mitigates hailstorm damage, and reduces repair costs, and harness natural resources for eco-friendly vehicle maintenance.
