DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing dietary ayurvedic formulation, which involves roasting yava (pearl barley) grains mildly at 80 ℃ for 20 minutes till change in color and texture is observed followed by cooling it; and grinding the cooled barley grains and candy sugar into fine powder using pulverizer machine to obtain 60 mesh size powder; and homogenizing both the powders in a mass mixture to obtain the final ready-to-cook formulation.
