| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Sustainable cotton cloth waste-based paver block/ brick comprises: a) 60-70 wt.% aggregates; and b) 30-40 wt.% binder. The aggregates include 40 wt.% coarse aggregate and 36 wt.% fine aggregate, with the fine aggregate containing between 10-25 wt.% ground cotton cloth waste. The binder comprises 14- 15.5 wt.% ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), 75-81 wt.% cement, and 0.5-1 wt.% admixture. USE - Sustainable cotton cloth waste-based paver block/ brick. ADVANTAGE - The paver block or brick made from sustainable cotton cloth waste exhibits a compressive strength of about 20-23 mega Pascals, excellent structural integrity and environmental sustainability. The paver blocks or bricks are durable and cost-effective. A variety of raw waste materials are incorporated to enhance sustainability and reduce environmental impact. The materials are sourced from different industries, serve as essential components in the production process. Their inclusion not only minimizes waste but also contributes to the overall strength and functionality of the final product. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of manufacture of sustainable cotton cloth waste-based paver block/ brick, which involves: a) mixing of fine aggregate and the grinded cotton cloth waste at in room temperature with ensuring there is no presence of moisture content; b) mixing of cement and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) to obtain a uniform mixture; and c) mixing of mixture obtained in step (a) and mixture obtained in step (b) with water and admixture to make composite to form mortar; and d) casting mortar in molds and kept drying for a time duration of 30 minutes, followed by demolding and sun drying to get ready to use bricks. |
