USE - Insecticidal composition used for controlling insect, pests infesting plants especially crops, e.g., Cotton (Gossypium subspecies), Paddy (Oryza sativa), Wheat (Triticumaestavum), Barley (Hordeum vulgare), Maize (Zea mays), Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum), Sugarbeet (Beta vulgaris), Soybean (Glycin max), Peanut (Arachis hypogaea), Sunflower (Helianthus annuus), Mustard (Brassica juncea), Rape seed (Brassica napus), Linseed (Linum usitatissimum), Sesame (Sesamum indicum), Castor (Ricinus communis), Green gram (Vigna radiate), Black gram (Vigna mungo), Chickpea (Ciceraritinum), Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata), Redgram (Cajanus cajan). ADVANTAGE - The composition enables to reduce effective dosage rates; increase environmental safety; reduce incidence of insect resistance, and phytotoxicity to crops; and exhibit high synergistic effect. The bioefficacy of an insecticidal composition was tested against leaf folder in paddy crop. The results showed that cyantraniliprole 10.26% OD + bifenthrin 10% EC + cartap hydrochloride 50% SP exhibited an % reduction over control of 89.62% after 10 days application.
