成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a solar thermal collector configured to capture solar energy and transfer to a heat transfer fluid (HTF). The HTF is capable of absorbing and retaining thermal energy, and circulating the heat from the solar thermal collector to a steam generation unit. A steam generation unit receives the HTF and using the thermal energy to generate high-pressure steam. A steam turbine is configured to receive the high-pressure steam and convert the thermal energy into mechanical energy for generating electricity. The solar thermal collector comprises parabolic troughs, heliostats, or a central receiver system. USE - Solar-assisted steam turbine system for enhanced power generation in large-scale power plants, and renewable energy installations. ADVANTAGE - The system enhances the overall system efficiency by utilizing free and abundant solar energy, enables power plants to generate electricity more sustainably. The system enhances power generation efficiency in hybrid energy systems. The system integrates solar thermal energy with steam turbine technology to provide a more sustainable, cost-effective, and reliable power generation solution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for generating power using a solar-assisted steam turbine system.
