成果简介	NOVELTY - The system has a current-limiting resistor connected in series with primary and secondary surge suppression components to limit current passing through the circuit during surge events. A thermal protection mechanism is monitored temperature of the suppression components, and deactivates the circuit if the temperature exceeds a predefined threshold. An over current protection mechanism is provided for deactivating the circuit, if the current exceeds the threshold. A fast-response triggering mechanism is ensured that the components are activated within 5 microseconds after the detection of a surge above a threshold voltage. The resistor is limited the surge current to a value in the range of 5A to 15A. USE - Surge protection circuit for industrial power system.
