| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Portable and aseptically compatible system for measuring conductance of a liquid, comprises: a transparent modified conical shape (101) having a cylindrical and long neck (102); an open wide bottom with smooth edges; a lid (104) of a bigger size fixed on top of the long neck (102); two parallel vertical electrodes with a length 7 cm (103) snugly fitted in the lid (104); through two slots (110), which extend to the bottom of the conical shape (101); two thin platinum wires (105), where one end of each wire (105) is attached with one end of each electrode (103) leaving a tip in each with a precise distance between two electrodes is fabricated at 2.5 cm; and a power supply (108) possessing a digital screen (109), which connects with other ends of the platinum wires (105) for running the system through electro-chemical approach. USE - The system is useful for measuring conductance of a liquid. ADVANTAGE - The system: enables real-time monitoring of cell growth, assessment of drug efficacy, and early detection of cancer by analyzing changes in ionic strength and conductivity, providing a simple and effective tool for cancer research and drug development; enables reutilization of the cellcontaining liquid after measuring conductance and estimating cells count, thus providing an alternative to the existing tools and technologies like hemocytometer, flow cytometry, and western blot; and is capable of monitoring cells growth, viability, and metabolism in aseptic conditions; estimating their count, and is customizable.
