| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Method for hydrogen storage through hydrogenation involves loading 0.85-1.3 kilograms of quinoline into a high-temperature, high-pressure stainless steel reactor, heating the reactor to a temperature of 60-130℃, using a heating coil, introducing 0.12-0.34 mol% osmium catalyst supported on aluminum oxide (Al2O3) into the reaction vessel, purging hydrogen gas into the reactor to maintain a pressure of 5-9 bars, allowing the hydrogenation reaction to proceed for 4-7 hours, resulting in a hydrogen storage capacity of 6.8-7.02 wt.% in the hydrogenated product. USE - Method for hydrogen storage through hydrogenation. ADVANTAGE - The method provides a scalable, efficient, and commercially viable solution for hydrogen storage and recovery, contributing to advancements in sustainable energy systems. The method achieves efficient hydrogenation and dehydrogenation processes at moderate temperatures, pressures, and minimal catalyst loadings to improve economic and practical feasibility. The method is scalable and cost-effective for potential deployment in sustainable energy systems and hydrogen-based technologies. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) regenerating hydrogen through dehydrogenation, which involves (a) transferring the hydrogenated material into the reactor designed for high-pressure dehydrogenation, (b) adding 0.22-0.46 mol% osmium catalyst supported on aluminum oxide (Al2O3), (c) raising the reactor temperature to a range of 110-140°C, (d) conducting the dehydrogenation reaction for 10-12 hours to release hydrogen efficiently; (2) stainless steel reactor; (3) use of osmium catalyst supported on aluminum oxide; and (4) hydrogen storage and release system. |
