| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Multi-Layer concrete panel (MCP) comprises (a) a core layer made from a lightweight material comprising beadboard panels and similar materials, (b) top and bottom layer of concrete sandwiching the core layer, where at least one of the layer is made from eco-friendly cementitious materials (ECM) incorporating fly ash and ground granulated blast furnace slag, and (c) terminus-modified synthetic fibers (TMSF) embedded within the ECM, where the TMSF is formed by modifying macro nylon fibers with enlarged ends to enhance interfacial bonding and crack resistance, to provide a panel with improved flexural strength, crack resistance, and load-bearing capacity and requires no external water curing. The TMSF are created by enlarging the ends of macro nylon fibers through controlled heat process. The multi-Layer concrete panel has ECM based concrete, ECM-based concrete with straight nylon fiber, or ECM-based concrete with terminus-enlarged nylon fibers. USE - The MCP is useful in construction. ADVANTAGE - The MCP: utilizes eco-friendly cementitious materials that reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 80% as compared to conventional cement-based concrete, thus contributing to the sustainability goals in construction; utilizes ECM-based concrete with terminus-enlarged nylon fibers having 10% more effeciency in load capacity as compared to conventional concrete; offers an environmentally sustainable and high-performance solution for the construction industry; enhances the load-bearing capacity, flexural strength, and crack resistance reduces the carbon footprint of traditional concrete and promotes sustainable construction practices; decreases and reduces the seismic weight of the buildings and structures.
